Greetings in the wonderful Name of Jesus.

Today is the day we need to be full of and controlled by the Holy Ghost.

Have you ever thought to yourself, I’m being ripped off or short changed? Have you ever worked really hard for someone and never got paid or never received the pay you thought you should of gotten? On the other hand most of us have done a  messy or half done job and to our surprise we have been given more than we deserve.

Every week people work 35 to 40 hours and when Friday rolls around they get paid for the work they have done. This pay is not a reward or a gift. it is money they earned, it is the result of their labor that they receive their wages.

Romans 4 ” What shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh?

2  For if Abraham  was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God.

3  For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

4  Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.

5  But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.”

Note the question Paul asks “What shall we say that Abraham, our father has found according to the flesh?” If Abraham was justified or made right by the things he did, he had reason to brag or boast. If we could earn, buy or devise a plan for salvation outside of the grace of God, we too might be able to brag or boast.

The truth is that we cannot earn, buy or manipulate anything from God. The only way to receive anything from God is by faith, just like Abraham done. Verse 3 says “Abraham believed ( had faith in) God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness.” Let’s put this in simple English, so even a child can understand it-Abraham believed God and God accepted Abraham’s faith. It was that faith in God that made him righteous. IT IS YOUR FAITH IN GOD NOT YOUR WORKS THAT MAKES YOU RIGHTEOUS.

We can work our way into the Kingdom of God. Your ministry, being a suicide bomber, feeding the poor, giving of your money, being born into the rich and famous, no, nothing but faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will get you a pass to heaven. In John 10:9 Jesus himself says, “I am the door, If anyone enters by me, he will be saved.”  It was the shed blood on the cross at Calvary that paid for our sins. It is the grace of God that provides what we receive from Him, our praying, fasting, learning, and giving is because we love Him. God is never indebted to us for what we do. We see people do a great work for God and it is those people who understand and appreciate what God has done for them that motivates their ministries.

We can work up many things on our own but faith occurs when we cease trying to do something by own efforts and trust God to do ot for us. Faith and trusting our own abilities are opposites of each other, it is when I put my whole trust in God and God’s ways that my miracle comes. Paul goes on in verse 17 to tell us how to use faith, “….and call those things which do not exist as though they did.”  Faith does not pretend that we don’t have a sickness, or indebtness, or a problem, no, no, faith recognizes the situation and presents it to God. You know the situation, give it to God and speak the Word of God over the situation knowing that the Word is greater than the situation.

Faith does not pretend there is no problem but rather reconizes the situation and presents it to the problem solver who is far greater than yourself. Notice this verse does not say to call things that are, as though they do not exist; but rather, God calls things which do not exist as though they do. Faith  does not deny the situation, the sickness, the stress, the weakness, the debt, but rather declares the Word of God over the situation knowing it is greater.Speak to the problem and believe you receive when you pray and you will receive.

God is good and He has much in store for you. It is up to each of us to find God’s will, plan, and purpose for our lives. My prayer is that the peace of God be with today and every day. God bless.

What a great day to be full of and controlled by the Holy Ghost. Today is the day we need to take back what belongs to God.

The other day I was reading a book by Katherine Porter and it read something like this: “Let me not destroy the beauty of today by greiving about yesterday or worrying about tomorrow”.  After reading that I thought how that applies to many Christians.  One of the devil’s strategies is to have us either procrastinate or to feel pressured into making a decision right now, without knowing the will, plan and purpose of each decision. We need to remember, God’s timing is always perfect.

Just yesterday I came across a bookmarker that someone had made me from my dad’s, DeForest Craze, obituary. As I read it, some amazing thoughts came to me.

Before I go any farther I want you to look at Matt. 13th chapter. This chapter illustrates how Jesus taught. This is how the Lord uses me to teach, by telling parables or stories. Just as Jesus used many things that were common and available in His day, the Lord uses things that are familar to you and I to teach today. Note that in this one chapter Jesus told seven different stories or parables. Let me remind you everytime you watch a movie or a TV show you are being told a story.

Now, back to finding this bookmarker, as I read the obituary I noticed not only what was written but also what had not been written. If you had met my dad it wouldn’t be long before he would be telling you about the Atlanta Braves ball games. If you had seen him dressed up, he would put on that beautiful blue suit and look like a million dollars, he would talk about the good deal he got on the van he was driving and he was so proud of the near antique truck he had parked in the garage. Guess what? None of that was mentioned in his obituary, nothing was mentioned of any money he had saved, of the fact he was a great sheet metal sketcher, no it just listed that he had worked for the Lord for 51 years and his survivors.

Always remember this, when all is said and done only what we have done for God will last.

John 14: 6 “I am the way, the truth and the life.”

This is Jesus speaking and anything outside of what we do for Him is only temporal, our jobs, our homes, our friends and all other material things we deem so important will all come to naught, but what we do for God will  last throughout eternity. For us to take back what is God’s we must have our priorities right. People matter!!

Jesus came from heaven to shed His blood for humans, not for things, not for creation, but for the redemption of man. Our prayer ought to be that of David in Psalms 25:9 “Teach me thy way, O Lord and lead me in thy path.” In America we are seeing the value of human life on the decline: however, we in the body of Christ must value every person that God puts in our life.

It is important that we worship the Creator more than the creation. We are living in an age where so many things seem to steal our time. No longer do we have the time to prepare that Sunday meal where all the family could gather and spend Sunday afternoon together, no longer do most families get to sit down for a meal each evening, no longer do we have quality time to spend with our children. Too often while one family member is watching TV, another one is on the computer and the third person is on the cell phone, while mother is busy delivering pizza to each room the children occupy. No quality time!

As I read the obituary I was reminded of the manners, discipline and the word of God that my dad has instilled in me. We have lost some of the quality time in many of our households. It is time we take back what belongs to God. We must teach our children the ways of God. Look at what Proverbs 3:5,6 says: ” Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.” It takes love and time to teach your children how to trust God, but it is the best investment you can ever make.

As one of DeForest Craze’s survivors I feel that as long as I live he will live on. That’s prosperity; I believe we need to take back that type of prosperity. I want to leave that type of legend. I want us all to make a quality choice today to take back the value of life, of friendship, and of fellowship with friends, family and fellow believers. Let us begin seeing positive things in others rather than be looking for something we can criticize.

The body of Christ should be a hospital for the oppressed instead of a courtroom.

We can take back what belongs to God by changing the things in our lives that are interfering with our relationship with the Lord.

What a great day to be full of and controlled by the Holy Ghost. Yes, no matter what the news programs are saying or no matter what the forecast for the economy or the weather is— it is still a great day for the believer who is full of and controlled by the Holy Ghost.

If you watch CNN or Fox or the other news stations you know how they always have the experts or a panel of people telling you the current bad news and forecasting how things will get worse in the days to come. They are always talking of the grim details that could happen in the future.

A few days ago God spoke to me and said that just as millions of people are focused on the news broadcasters words that He too covets our attention to what He is speaking. We can always find the time to keep up with current events, however, one of the most often used excuses for not knowing what the Word of God says is that we don’t have the time. The TV news only brings us gloom, doom, and despair but if you hear what the Word of God says, the results are glorious, life changing and joyous.

Let’s look at what God wants from our lips:

1) Psalms 69:30 ” I will praise the name of the God with a song.” He loves you singing no matter if you are a good or bad singer.

2) Psalms 95:1 ” O come, let us sing to the Lord, let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our sdalvation”.

3) Psalms 100:1&2 “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands. Serve the Lord with gladness, Come before His presence with singing”.

4) Psalms 100:4 “Enter intp His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name.”

Now with a song of praise on your lips and thankfulness in your heart for all the Lord has done, you should not be full of fear or doubt about your future. Simply by doing what the Word says–singing, making a joyful noise aqnd being thankful to Him, we can change our attitude and outlook about life.

Being thankful pleases the Lord. If you are ungrateful then God won’t take a lot of pleasure in you. You honor and love the Lord when you thank Him; your song honors Him.

Psalms 69:30 “I will praise God in a song and will honor Him by giving thanks. That will please the Lord more than offering Him cattle, more than sacrificing a bull with horns and hoofs.”

It is such a wonderful thing when my children come to me and say, ” thank you mom”. I feel good to know that they are thinking about me and are grateful for the things I do for them. When you forget what God has done for you and do not thank Him in song, dance and worship, it won’t be long until you will be worshipping idols. O’ Elaine, I would never put a golden calf in my living room and worship it. We already have many idols in our lives. There are many things, even in believers lives, that are seemingly more important than God. You should read, study and understand the entire 106th Psalm.

Psalms 107:21 & 22 “Let them give thanks to the Lord for His love and for the miracles He does. Let them offer sacrifices to thank Him. With joy they should tell what He has done”.

If your heart is filled with thanksgiving, you will talk about it. Whatever is in your heart you will talk about. Just stay around someone a day or two and they will tell you what’s on their heart. THANKSGIVING COMES FROM A HAPPY HEART!!

Psalms 51:3 (NCV) So the Lord will comfort Jersalem; He will show mercy to those who live in her ruins. He will change her deserts into a garden like Eden; He will make her empty lands like the garden of the Lord. People there will be very happy; they will give thanks and sing songs.”

Being delivered and set free from the enemy will make you happy. When you’re happy you will smile, laugh, dance and show it. God has done so many good things for me that I am happy and always have thanksgiving on my lips.

Praise God, I am a temple of the Lord. When He found me, I was blind, I was lost, I was hurting, but Jesus rebuilt my life. There was nothing left but ruins, a heap of trash when He found me. I am so very happy that He cleaned me up, forgave me, healed me and turned me around. God had a big job with me because I was such a mess. I was about 40 years old before I received healing for my emotions; He took away all the guilt and shame. It’s like the song says, “It took Him six days to make the sun, moon and stars but He is still working on me.” This is what makes me so grateful. I’m thankful for His changing my mind, my heart and my entire life. Thank God I am delivered, happy and free.

Jonah was thrown overboard and was swallowed up by a big fish; however, it was in the belly of the fish where he worshipped the Lord and got delivered onto dry land. Being thankful is a choice—-I choose to be thankful.

While standing in line to use the ladies restroom I could complain about how long the line is, but I’m reminded how thankful I ought to be that I’m not connected to a dialysis machine.

I took my grandchildren to a park the other day and it started raining. As it began I wanted it to stop, but I looked across the way and there sat an older man in a wheel chair getting soaked. It hit me, here I am with an umbrella and two healthy legs, I need to be thankful for what I’ve got. You can always look around and see people less fortunate than you.  As a believer you should be thankful every moment for your salvation. Later that day I got to eat in one of my favorite places. As I sat there I was thinking of all the people who are homeless, who had their homes foreclosed, who have lost their jobs and now are hungry, yet I can eat this good food and have enough money to pay for it.

I AM VERY THANKFUL TO GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want you to take time today to be an instrument of praise and thanksgiving to the King.  Thankful hearts please God. I love you and am so thankful for your love and support to Elaine Hollmer Ministries.

Sincerely,

ELAINE

Dear Partner,

Today is the day you should be full of and controlled by the Holy Ghost.

Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Years celebrations are over and everybody is in the year of 2009.  President Obama has been sworn in and sitting in the oval office starting to work on all the campaign promises he made to the American people.  It is time for us all to pray for the President.  I’m sure everyone isn’t pleased with what the President and the Democratic Party stands for; however, I Peter 2:17 tells us “honor the King” (president).   The best way to honor someone is to give the most valuable treasure you have… your time in prayer.

All retail companies have made their profits for 2008, if it is a department store; they have sold all the dresses, coats and shoes for 2008.  If it is a plumbing warehouse, all the PVC pipes, connectors and faucets for 2008 have been sold.  It’s a new year and they all start over, a fresh beginning.  The only way they know how well they did for 2008 is to take an inventory of what is left.

I’m sure you have read a sign on the door of a business, “closed for inventory”.  Doing an inventory means you count what’s left.  A large company puts its inventory on computer and as they sell the merchandise it’s removed from the list of products in stock.  Sometimes the merchandise leaves, by the hand of a thief and they don’t know about it, as the computer has no record of it being gone.  It is not until an inventory is done that the company is aware of it’s lose.  I have a question for you.  Do you know how much you have spiritually?  How long has it been since you have taken an inventory of your spiritual life?  Last year is gone; did the thief take more than you know?  John 10:10 says “The thief comes to kill, steal and destroy”.  Do you have enough to get through 2009?  Do you have enough to take back what is mine in 2009?  Sometimes we think there is enough until a crisis or hard place happens, only then we realize we were not ready; we don’t have enough inventory to see victory.

As a minister of the Lord Jesus Christ, I have learned that if I don’t do an inventory on myself, the adversary will.  My friend let me tell you, satan watches how you operate in your weakest time.  It’s at your weakest moment that he comes to steal your joy.  You must acknowledge the place of trouble and remove it.  You are to keep your arsenal full.  It is not your husband or wife, your pastor or your friend, but it is your job and your job alone to know what you have.

You may ask, well how do I take an inventory?

1)      Be honest with yourself. Rid yourself of all pride; tell the honest truth.

2)      Talk to yourself. That’s right; ask yourself the hard questions out loud.

Ask yourself, Am I filled with the joy of the Lord?  Am I full of and controlled by the Holy Ghost?  Do I love as Jesus loved?  Am I being a good witness for the Lord?

If you are rude, answering with an attitude or have a heart full of anger, then somewhere the thief was able to steal your joy.  You haven’t fooled anyone around you when your heart is full of anger. You can’t be full of anger and walking the love walk.

Let’s look at John 5:9-11:

Vs 9-As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you: abide in My love.

Vs 10- If you keep my commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Fathers commandments and abide in His love.Vs.11- The things I have spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you and that your joy may be full.

You might say, “I don’t fell happy, I know my joy is not full”, then my sweet friend, you need to know that you left the love walk and have lost your joy.  Joy comes from the Lord.  Only from the Lord can you have true joy.  Friends, money and things only bring temporal joy. A new car only brings temporal joy, the new car smell leaves and the joy of that new car often leaves with it.  You may be wild about that new dress, but after wearing it a few times you’re ready to give it away or sell it in the yard sale.  True joy only comes when you experience a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and really know His love.  A relationship with Him means spending time with Him. How can you have a relationship with someone you don’t know?  You know a person by learning their ways and their character.  To know God’s character you need to know Him.  I love my family and friends but they can’t be God.  I must know the voice of God for myself.  Have you ever thought you heard God’s voice but the results were you didn’t and you made a huge mistake?  I have done that, I’m sure we all mistakenly thought we were right.  In order to learn His ways, plans and purpose for our life, we must learn the Bible. This means, read it, study it daily and most of all do it, do what the word says. Get a plan, don’t just say OK Elaine, but make a plan, put it in your mind, write it on paper and do it.  Prayer is talking to God.  Every relationship must have communication.  Talk out loud; tell Him about your day.  I know that He already knows, but you tell Him anyway.  It helps your mind to talk to the one who can really help you.  The Bible tells us to “pray always”.

Take Inventory!!

A)    Are you walking in love or anger?

B)     Do you love God or the world?

C)    Is your tongue cleansed or full of poison?

D)    Do you love the House of God or go to church to ease your conscience?

E)     Do you have enough to get through the hard times?

F)     What do you have?

Remember this: A person without love, a person without the Bible, a person without prayer, a person without joy is a ticking time bomb ready to explode with anger.

With Love,

Elaine

What a great day to be full of and controlled by the Holy Ghost!

This month I want to share something with that is very special to my heart.   Even though I can’t share all of it at one time, I want to share of the wonderful scriptures I found concerning our identity.  With all the news lately about identity thief and computer hacking, I want to secure my identity with the Lord Jesus Christ.

For us believers, Paul says in Gal. 2:20;  “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and  the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”  Paul made it very clear with whom he identified and we should all do the same. The words, ” I am crucified with Christ”  is the same thing as we believers can say; “In Him, I have shared His crucification.” This tells me that the only way to live through Christ is to die with Christ. In the Amplified Bible Romans 6:6 says:  “we know that our (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that (our) body (which is the instrument) of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin”.   If Adam and Eve had never sinned in the garden, there would not have been a need for Jesus to come to earth and shed His blood for our salvation. When we are crucified with Christ, we give up living for ourselves, wanting our own desires, and enjoying our sinful ways.

Being crucified with Christ means doing the will, plan and purpose God has for my life. It is no longer, my will be done but rather, the will of the one who I am crucified with be done through me. Romans 7:6 puts it this way  But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.”

Your identity must be with the comforter that Jesus sent to lead and guide you, The Holy Ghost.

It is the Holy Ghost that draws you to Christ, it is the Holy Ghost that convicts us of sin, it is the Holy Ghost that enables us to accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and assures us of salvation, it is the Holy Ghost that enables us to live a victorious life, it is the Holy Ghost that helps us  understand the Word of God, it is the Holy Ghost that enables us to pray the perfect will, plan, and purpose for our lives, and it is the Holy Ghost that gives us the boldness to share Jesus with others. It is the Holy Ghost that gives us newness of life. We need always to walk, talk, think and do as the Holy Ghost leads us.

Paul goes on in Gal. 2:20 to say:…“The life which I now  live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God.”

When you live in the flesh by faith in the Son of God, it means that your carnal desires are subject to and controlled by the Holy Spirit.  If you live in the life of the Spirit you can rest assured that before you sin, the Holy Ghost will convict you and try to intercept your sinful actions. We must rely on and put our confidence in the Comforter that is trying to lead and guide us into all truth. Often when we get born again we invite Jesus to be Lord of our lives, but we make decisions on our own intellect instead of seeking the will of God.

Today we must make our identity sure; we need to identify with the one who saved us, protects us, heals us and is able to help us make the right decisions every time we call on Him.
In Galatians, chapter 3, Paul questions the Galatians: “Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by the hearing of faith?“  We too must always remember, it is by faith we are saved. Not one of us is worthy of what God has done for us. We are all saved by grace through faith. Our righteousness is as filthy rags; however, through Christ we are righteous.

Oh, I get happy every time I think about the love of God. Never let the idea that God doesn’t love you ever enter your mind. If there is one thing that I know, it is that God loves you and me. Paul goes on in verse three to state: “Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect in the flesh?” We must remember, the work in the Spirit that God already started in you will only be completed if you stay in the Spirit. The devil will try to get us over into flesh thinking, but the work you have is not a work God ordered from the earth but it is a divine work ordered from and originating from heaven. Verse five makes it clear, how God can secure your identity: “Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith?” It is faith that pleases God. It is faith that gets our prayers answered and it is faith that will open the door of opportunity for you to complete the work that God has already started in your life.

Protecting your identity with Christ is worth all the time, talent and energy you have. We cannot ever repay Jesus for His blood shed on Calvary; however, we can daily boldly declare the works of God.

I love you and want to agree with you in prayer that your identity with Christ Jesus is safe and secure.
God bless.
Elaine

Humility

Today is the day we should be full of and controlled by the Holy Ghost. Yes, everyday is the day we should be full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit. As we see the return of Jesus drawing ever nearer it is not the time to get caught up in the things of this world, but rather, today and everyday we must seek and serve our redeemer.

Let’s look at 1Peter 5: 5-9  “…all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
6. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.
7. casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
8. Be sober,be vigilant;because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”
Note in verse 5, we are to ” be submissive to one another.” Eph. 5:21 tells us
Submitting to one another in the fear of the Lord.”
The word “submitting ” refers to being accountable, being able to receive instruction and advise from fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord. We who are in the body of Christ need one another. No one person has it all, we need love, gifting and fellowship of other believers. You, me and the rest of the body of Christ must always remember that we are needed by God and His church here on earth. God never made a mistake when He let you be born for this  day and time.

Verse 5 goes on to tell us how to be humble, ” be clothed with humility.” The word humility   can be defined as modesty, humble-minded, and a humble attitude of unselfish concern for the welfare of others. It is a total lack of arrogance, conceit and haughtiness. In today’s world, even in the church , it is hard to find such a person. A person clothed with humility who will always give God the credit for what they have achieved or accomplished. It is interesting that Peter uses the word ” clothed”, meaning to cover yourself, in other words hide yourself - being covered with humility so when someone looks at you all they see is Christ.

Verse 6 makes it very plain whom and how to be humbled. First, we all must realize that we must humble ourselves. No one, not even God is to humble us. We must make the decision ourselves to act with humility. Secondly, we do so “under the mighty hand of God”. This is very important as our idea of humility is possibly very different than what God considers humble. By doing it God’s way we then may be qualified for exaltation in due time.

Verse 7 tells us more about humbling ourselves; ” casting your care upon Him.” This means stop trying to make yourself Lord over your own life. Do you remember when you asked God to be Lord of your Life?  Well, God remembers and since that day He has to compete with us as to who will rule. The word “care” suggests distractions, anxieties, burdens, worry, and fear. In a world where we read and see fires burning on the west coast, floods ruining lives, homes and crops in Mid-America, daily threats of storms across America, high fuel prices, ever increasing food costs and recalls on everything from food to toys to vehicles, it is easy to see why the world and the carnal Christian would be full of frustration and anxiety. Friends, we are neither of this world, nor are we carnal, we believers must put our trust in and rely on the love, power and presence of a Father who can and will provide for our daily needs as well as our spiritual welfare. THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL LEAD AND GUIDE US, AMEN.

Verse 8 contains the secret for us to stay humble, “Be sober, be vigilant, (be self-controlled and be watchful) because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” As long as we are full of and controlled by the Holy Ghost we will be able to discern the plans and strategies of the devil. We all need to realize the devil is the father 0f lies, there is no truth in him and his job description is to steal, kill and destroy. His job is to instill fear in the heart of the believer so as  to remove the confidence and trust we have in the Lord Jesus Christ. He uses circumstances, thoughts, friends, family, the media and whatever we watch, listen or read to deceive us into thinking that God will not handle this situation. Often Satan convinces us that that we are not worthy of answered prayer, or we are weak in our faith, or that we are sinful and undeserving of God’s grace, love and power. Always remember, the devil is a liar and a deceiver, do what verse 9 tells you, “RESIST HIM”. How do you resist him?
Steadfast in the faith.” that Jesus is Lord over all your situations.

I want you to know that we are all a part of the body of Christ and we need one another. I’ll be the first one to tell you, I need your love, prayers and support. It takes all of us working together to carry out the work of the Lord.

I love you and thank you for your kindness.

Sincerely,

Elaine

Today is the day we must be full of and controlled by the Holy Ghost. We are all familiar with Romans 10:17 “…Faith comes by hearing by the Word of God.” It is  so important to know when we pray that our prayers are of the nature that God can answer them. Often, we just make our petitions known in Jesus name, amen.

It is the word of God that the Holy Ghost uses to quicken a response of faith within us, and it is the reliability of the Word of God on which we rest our faith for salvation. Lets remember this, just as we owe our natural existence to the Creator’s spoken word and life-giving breath, so we owe our New Birth to the power in God’s Word and the Holy Ghost.

When our spirit is alive toward God then He can complete the work He called us to do. We need to recognize that our faith will grow only as much as we feed it on God’s Word.

With this said I want to share with you some Word or Bible prayers:

1) Dear Heavenly Father according to Hebrews 11: 1,3,6 ” Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. Through faith I understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things, which I see, were not made of things, which do appear. For without faith it is impossible for me to please Him: for when I come to God I must believe that He is and that He is a re warder to me, if I deli gently seek Him.”

Now, add your prayer requests. Help me to have the God kind of faith I need, in Jesus name, amen.

2) Dear Heavenly Father according to I Peter 1: 7-9: ” The tral of my faith, being much more precious than  gold that perishes, though it be tired with fire it might be found to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of you Jesus Christ. Whom having not seen , I love; in whom, though now I see you not, yet believing, I rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Receiving the end of my faith, even the salvation of my soul.”

Add your petition, here. Thank you Lord for helping me have faith in you, in Jesus name I pray.

3) Dear Heavenly Father according to Jude 3,20,21: ” I earnestly contend for the faith, which was once delivered unto he saints. ( I ) build myself up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Keeping myself in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Voice your prayer here. For I believe when I pray in Jesus name you hear me.

There are many more scriptures that you can and should pray. Luke 1:37 and II Corinthians 5:7 are more examples of the type of prayer that will build your faith.
Note in Jude that it is our responsibility ” to contend for the faith, to build yourself up on your most holy faith, and to keep yourself in the love of God”. A vital part of your spiritual growth is praying in the Holy Ghost. Praying in the Holy Spirit includes:

1) praying in your own lanuage as prompted by the Spirit ( Romans 8:15 )
2) praying with groanings which cannot be uttered ( Romans 8:26 )
3) praying in a tongue unknown to the one praying ( 1 Cor. 14:4,14 )

At our home church we have seen a unity in the spirit like we have never sensed before, since we have began to pray together as a church family, three nights a week. The words that say  “a family who prays together, stays together” can be applied to the church family as well. One of the greatest gifts we can give anyone is sincere prayer, the kind that God responds to.

I must tell you, that I have not been so excited and so sure of anything, as I am about the Holy Ghost explosion we will have in the tent on July 1st to the 4th in Fort Payne, AL. I would encourage you to plan part of your vacation, take time off your job, or do whatever to be a part of these services. I believe this  will be the meeting of the decade; it will help us get through the things which are coming upon America. It is a God ordained tent revival.

Thank you for your love, prayers and support to Elaine Hollmer Ministries. Your gifts help keep me ministering each week. I am happy to announce to you that everywhere I have been ministering I am seeing people get born again. Praise God! I look forward to hearing from you, soon. God bless.
